Trees & Psychosocial Pressures
Root Projection
The task of clarifying the Principal Typology Complex ( ) is nearing completion.
correspondence to theThe present analysis has demanded clarity about humanity's Primal Needs (which are not properly part of the Taxonomy) and its Primal Means (which are).
The current conjecture is that each
contains and projects a psychosocial pressure. These play a critical role in orienting individuals in their endeavours. Often implicit, a pressure may be forgotten or minimized: and then it may benefits from being made explicit. Sometimes, or perhaps more often, one pressure is given far too much weight, leading to distortions and seemingly irrational behaviour.Whereas the pressures within the
are projected on an ordered basis (i.e. to , to etc), the pattern in the is different.Discovery of the pattern was easy due to fortuitous quality of , but understanding and confidently generalizing to other Principal Typologies required analysis of the derived Spirals.
Observation had revealed a re-ordering of the Types in the timing of Spiral Stages. The surprising pattern was known to involve two adjacent in the two Cycles that develop the sophistication of the Primal Means.
Movement around any Spiral demands effort, and progress appears to depend on pressures projected from . The identified pressures aligned with the expectations generated by .
Below is a table summarizing findings:
Stage |
Mode Basis | Cycles in Spiral |
Psychosocial Pressure |
---|---|---|---|
φ7 | Type-5 | Cycle-2
Actualization Pressures |
Acceptability |
φ6 | Type-7 | Well-being | |
φ5 | Type-2 | Certainty | |
φ4 | Type-1 | Cycle-1 Transcendence Pressures | Autonomy |
φ3 | Type-4 | Understanding | |
φ2 | Type-6 | Selflessness | |
φ1 | Type-3 | Primal Nexus | Performance |
The temporal-Stage sequence of a Spiral shown above corresponds to levels in a hierarchy. However, this Spiral-derived hierarchy is not strictly taxonomic. It is, rather, another emergent hierarchy and therefore exists in practice as a framework.
Centres in the Spiral-based emergent Trees contain the essential components relevant to meeting the Primal Need of that Domain. There are personal and social tensions (the dynamic duality) that affect requisite interactions and influences between Centres. Each Centre (i.e. Mode essence) is also subject to two psychosocial pressures: one from the Tree level, and the other from the Spiral mode.
In the following Topics, each Primal Need will be considered with a focus on the relevant Tree that determines its pursuit regardless of the sophistication of the Primal Means.
